앵커: 독일에서는 봄이 끝나면서 겨울이 다시 시작되었습니다! 
어제, 기온이 섭씨 영하 3도로 떨어진 남부 독일 프라이부르그 지역과 펠데르그 산맥의 어디에도 여름을 보거나 느낄 수 없었습니다. 심지어 어떤 곳은 6월 평균기온보다 20도나 떨어졌습니다. 햇볕을 만끽하며 이 지역을 산책하곤 하던 하이커들은 레인코트를 입고 차가운 눈보라 속에서 고군분투했습니다. 많은 사람들이 폭풍과 미끄러운 땅바닥 때문에 산속 오두막으로 피신을 해야 했습니다. 매년 이맘때쯤이면 손님으로 북적이는 가든 맥주집에는 눈사람 만드는 아이들만 있을 뿐 텅 비어 있습니다. 독일 기상대는 추위와 눈비가 며칠 계속될 것이라고 예보했습니다.
Winter in Germany has arrived in June
WONG: As Spring came to an end, winter started again in Germany! Yesterday, summer was nowhere to be seen or felt in the areas of Freiburg and the Felderg mountains in southern Germany where temperatures dropped to minus three degrees Celsius, some twenty degrees below the normal temperature for the month of June. Hikers who frequent the area for walks in the sunshine could be seen wearing raincoats while struggling with blizzard conditions. Many were even forced to seek refuge from the storm and slippery ground in mountain huts. The Beer Gardens which are usually packed this time of year remained empty with the exception of a few children making snowmen. The German weather service predicts the cold and precipitation will continue for a few days.
